Cards: two different fee shapes
TCGplayer takes 10.75% commission at levels 1 to 4, capped at $75 per product since February 2026, plus 2.5% + $0.30 on the order total. eBay takes 13.25% on trading cards, on the item and postage, up to $7,500, then 2.35%, plus $0.30 per order up to $10 and $0.40 above.
Cheap cards, expensive cards
On a $2 card, both fixed fees ($0.30) eat most of the margin. On high-value cards, TCGplayer’s $75 cap starts to matter from about $700, while eBay keeps charging 13.25% up to $7,500.
In Europe, Cardmarket takes 5% and is the usual choice.
