How do TCGplayer fees work?
TCGplayer takes a marketplace commission on the item price and a transaction fee on the whole order. The rates changed on 10 February 2026: the standard commission went from 10.25% to 10.75% and the cap per product from $50 to $75.

Transaction fee
On top, TCGplayer charges 2.5% + $0.30 of the order total (items, shipping and sales tax), or 3.5% + $0.30 when the buyer is outside the US. The calculator leaves sales tax out, so the real fee can be slightly higher.
Worked example
A Level 1 seller sells a $25 card with $1.31 shipping to a US buyer: commission $2.69, transaction fee $0.96, so the seller receives about $22.66 for the card and the shipping, before postage costs.

How much does TCGplayer take from sellers?
Level 1 to 4 sellers pay 10.75% commission on the item price, capped at $75 per product, plus a transaction fee of 2.5% + $0.30 on the order total (3.5% + $0.30 for international orders).
What is the TCGplayer fee cap?
Since 10 February 2026 the commission is capped at $75 per product sold. Before, the cap was $50. The Pro fee has the same $75 cap.
Does TCGplayer charge fees on shipping?
The commission is on the item price only, but the transaction fee is charged on the whole order total, shipping and sales tax included.
