Might you owe tax?
Probably not. Selling your own unwanted things is generally not trading, so it is usually not taxed, even if the platform reports you.

Retailed counts your sales and profit per platform, so you know where you stand all year.
Start freeWill Vinted report me to HMRC?
Vinted, eBay, Depop and other platforms report a seller to HMRC once they make 30 or more sales, or receive more than €2,000 (about £1,700), in a calendar year. Below both limits, they don’t report you.
Does being reported mean I have to pay tax?
No. The report only tells HMRC what you sold. Selling your own unwanted things is generally not trading and is usually not taxed. If you buy things to resell, the first £1,000 of trading income a year is covered by the trading allowance.
What is DAC7?
DAC7 is the EU rule that makes online platforms report their sellers to the tax office. The UK has the same rules. Both use the same limit: 30 sales or €2,000 a year.
