How does Etsy fees works?

Etsy charges a flat 0,20€ fee for each listing you create. This fee is charged when you list an item for sale, and it is valid for four months or until the item sells.

When an item sells, Etsy charges a transaction fee of 6.5% of the total payment collected, including the shipping price charged to the customer. This fee is taken out of the amount you receive from the sale

.In addition to the transaction fee, if the sale is processed through Etsy's "Direct Checkout" feature, you'll also be charged an additional 3% + 0,25€ fee. This is because Direct Checkout allows buyers to pay with credit or debit cards, and these transactions incur additional processing fees

.It's also important to note that if you choose to use PayPal as your payment method, PayPal charges its own fee for goods and services transactions. As of July 2022, PayPal's fee is 2.99%.

Keep in mind that these fees are subject to change and you should always check Etsy's website for the most up-to-date information.
