The Streetwear Shops Guide: Vienna

All four shops below are in Vienna's first district, the Innere Stadt, within a few minutes' walk of St. Stephen's Cathedral. You can see them all in an afternoon.

We checked every address against the shop's own website, recent guides and OpenStreetMap on 4 November 2026. Some Vienna sneaker shops keep short or unusual hours, so check before you go.

Steffl Sneaker Gallery

The Steffl department store on Kärntner Straße has a whole shoe floor on level six, with more than 10,000 pairs. Its Sneaker Gallery carries limited editions and high-end models from brands such as Lanvin, Veja and New Balance. It opens Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, and is closed on Sundays.

Hypeneedz

Hypeneedz sells limited sneakers and streetwear, with brands such as Nike, adidas, Supreme and Palace. The shop is on Rauhensteingasse, a side street off Kärntner Straße, almost next door to Steffl. Guides list short opening hours on some weekdays, so check its Instagram first.

Solebox

Solebox started in Berlin and opened its Vienna shop in 2016, a minute from St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is known for unusual sneakers and high-end streetwear brands, and it is still one of only seven Solebox stores in Europe.

Footsteps

Footsteps is a minimalist shop on Fleischmarkt, where the sneakers are the whole point. Guides recommend it for pairs you won't find in other shops in the city. It opens Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 18:30 and Saturday from 10:30 to 18:00, according to Sneakerjagers.
