The Streetwear Shops Guide: Budapest

Budapest's sneaker shops cluster in the Belváros, District V on the Pest side, between Váci utca and the Károly körút ring road. Three of the four below are there, and the fourth is just across the ring road in District VII, all within a 15-minute walk of each other.

Two of the four sell resale or hard-to-find pairs, so Budapest is a good city for comparing prices. We checked every address against the shop's own website, recent guides and OpenStreetMap on 4 November 2026. Check opening hours before you go.

Footshop

Footshop is a Prague-based sneaker retailer, and its Budapest store is on Kristóf tér, just off Váci utca. It carries a wide range of sneakers and streetwear, including Dunks, Jordans and New Balance. It is the place for current releases at retail price.

Szputnyik Shop

Szputnyik Shop replaces True to Sole, which has closed its Budapest shop and now sells online only. Szputnyik is a vintage and streetwear shop on the corner of Dohány utca and Síp utca, a few minutes' walk from Astoria, just across the ring road in District VII. Expect second-hand finds next to new streetwear pieces and accessories, so give yourself time to dig.

Unreal

Unreal is a Budapest streetwear brand, and its flagship shop sells its own clothing next to resale sneakers from Nike, Jordan, Yeezy and Off-White. It is open every day, with hours listed on its website.

Balazs Kicks

Balazs Kicks sells hyped releases such as Jordan 1s and Nike collaborations, at resale prices. Its website says every product is verified by CheckCheck, an authentication service. The shop on Károly körút opens every day, from 12:00 on weekdays and 11:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, until 20:00.
